Our story

After amassing over 30 years’ experience in the legal system at judicial level, Peter Jewell discovered there was a problem. Solicitors are far too often misleading their clients by getting clerks without any legal qualifications or solicitors with very little legal experience to deal with their affairs and charging exhorbitant hourly rates rather than fixed fees. A lot of people needed legal advice but couldn’t afford it, and a lot of businesses needed regular legal advice but wanted retainers with more flexibility. That’s why he decided to create a new legal practice, Resolve Law Group, to which Harry Cottam, a legally qualified legal adviser with vast experience in civil, employment, personal injury, clinical negligence, solicitors negligence and family matters, is a fully committed consultant. The vision is to create a flexible, simple law firm that provides excellent legal advice at a more affordable price.

Our approach

The way we do things is simple; we don’t baffle people with jargon, we’re straightforward, no nonsense, honest people. We look to give people exactly what they need, no more, no less. When you need to contact us there’s no automated switchboard or being passed around different departments, we deal with our clients directly. We even work right in the offices of some our clients around the country, with us, it’s all about building the right relationship.
